Men In Couple Therapy: Understanding The Therapeutic Experience from a Male Point of View. CPD Webinar Replay (including Q&A): On-Demand Instant Access.
Many relationship behaviours cluster around masculine and feminine traits. Couple therapy typically focuses on relationship behaviours generally considered to be more feminine. This is evident in current clinical trends such as Emotionally Focused Therapy. This sometimes leaves couples and well-intentioned therapists with the notion that men in heterosexual couples are the ones who must make the most significant adjustments, which might not be the best way to improve the couple’s relationship. All of these issues are discussed in this well-received webinar, hosted by chartered psychologist John Barry and special guest presenter, clinical psychologist and relationships expert Shawn T Smith. This two-hour webinar was originally recorded in February 2025, and is now available for the first time to watch on-demand, offering instant access to this wealth of expert insights.
